Books(sci-fi, fantasy murder mystery and sometimes a girl needs a bit of romance), pretty much anything related to comic books (make mine Marvel!), drawing, movies, horses, dogs, cats, music, cooking, history, anthropology
I love all types of music but at the moment I am particularly drawn to jazz/blues (Michael Buble is dreamy), country, and anything Dave Matthews.
My tastes in movies are like my tastes in books. I love sci-fi (Doom, Pitch Black, Serenity) and I don't think they make enough of this genre. I also like scary movies, action movies, girly movies, intellectual movies (sometimes, if they have Matt Damon in them I'm there) and of course the comic book movies (even if they are awful).
I try not to get caught up in too much tv but I do enjoy watching West Wing, Lost, Battlestar Galatica, and CSI: Las Vegas.
My favorite authors are Patricia Cornwell, J.D. Robb, Laurel K. Hamilton, Dean Koontz, Diana Gabaldon and I love pretty much anything written by Joss Whedon, Allan Heinberg, Brian Michael Bendis, Brian K. Vaughan, Chris Claremont, Gail Simone, Greg Pak, Geoff Johns, Marc Silvestri, Marc Waid, and Scott Loeb. For Patricia I love her Kay Scarpetta series, J.D. Robb it is Eve Dallas series, Laurel is Anita Blake series, Diana the Fraser series, and if Dean writes it I'll read it. The comic titles I am currently reading is pretty much anything with X-Men in the title, Avengers, Young Avengers, House of M, Runaways, Hunter Killer and some DC stuff (mainly the Infinite line, JLA and Supergirl).
Do superheroes count? I think it would be cliched if I said my parents and I think we may all aspire to be like Mother Theresa or Bill Gates (in one form or another, don't they both at least have one quality we wish we possessed).
