About Me

My Interests

Music, Movies, Working with Kids, Cartoons, Astrology, Everything British, My friends; karaoke, peace, love, and happiness; transferring music to my Creative ZenTouch 40 GB Mp3 player; burning cds for myself and friends, caffeine, fast food, romance, staying up late when I can, cuddling, being goofy, politics, spirituality...SOOOO many things to name so I won't bore you with details.

I'd like to meet:

On here: Let's see, Who do I NOT want to meet?? Guys looking for online booty calls, or friends with benefits. I'm not interested in getting to know your penis!!! If you go ahead and try to message me, I'll just delete it. I want to get to know the actual person behind the profile.WHO DO I WANT TO MEET? Anyone who seems interesting to me, especially if we share similar interest in movies, music, t.v, political views, etc......I want to be able to have a somewhat interesting conversation about something.

Music:

Get this: I LIKE LOTS OF MUSIC!!! However, I'm mainly into classic rock, alternative, punk, and some electronica, everything else I have a slight tolerance for but could not consider myself a huge fan of....Here's a brief list: BEATLES, The Doors, The Who, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, David Bowie, Queen, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, Cake, Radiohead, Weezer, Keane, Green Day, The Killers, Oasis, Rilo Kiley, Wilco, and Incubus

Movies:

Thanks to Netflix, this section has developed into an even broader taste (even though I don't mind going to the movie theatre once in awhile. I'm all about variety). I love the usual screwball comedy, psychological thriller, or even independent film, but give me romance anytime. All time favorite movie?? YELLOW SUBMARINE, High Fidelity, The entire "Jay and Silent Bob" collection, "When Harry Met Sally", and most recently "Garden State", just to name a few. It's tough deciding on just ONE. Fav. directors include Kevin Smith, Tim Burton, Pedro Almodovar, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, plus most recently Roman Polanski, Woody Allen, and some, I repeat, SOME of Steven Spielberg's stuff. Anything that has a strong artistic expression, has deep sentimental value, or is just a masterpiece overall is also something worth seeing.

Television:

Do T.V shows on DVD count?? J/K....Lately it's all about Scrubs, South Park, Sex and the City, Family Guy, Friends reruns in syndication, Real World/Rules, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and the Simpsons. Also, once in a while I tune into Comedy Central (Drawn Together!!) just to see what's on. I miss Adult Swim.

Books:

anything related to music, including: The Walrus was Paul, and A Hard Day's Write (Beatles books), plus biographies on some of my favorite groups; The Harry Potter series; film guides; Sex and The City; astrology/new age stuff; Catcher in the Rye; High Fidelity (book's just as good as the movie); Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs (Chuck Klosterman)

Heroes:

My parents, since they've had to put up with all my crap over the years, LOL; My siblings (All five of them!!!!!), and The Fab Four, since they showed us that all you need is love.
