Martin Joensen

Born and raised in the beautiful town of Vestmanna on Streymoy I lived my teenage years and youth under the inspirational umbrella of the Beatles, Stones, Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix and the all-lovin´ hippie culture of the day... and I realised that music would always be a main ingredient of my life.I started to write songs around the age of 14 and have continued to this day. Partly with the group Vestmenn - consisting of me and some friends from Vestmanna - and partly as a solo performer. For the last four years or so I have mostly performed with the group "Hinir".
