About Me

A little info on Belú Music while we get our MySpace page together (finally!!!):We are an independent label and music production house founded in the City of Angels in November 2004. Our production team has played, recorded and/or produced music for Mstislav Rostropovich, Rubén Blades, Celia Cruz, Lee Ritenour, Papo Angarica, Max Roach, Juanes, Bocatto, Tita Lima, Stanley Clarke and a bunch of other musicians, artists, producers and companies from around the world (it's a long list and we don't want to bother you or be long-winded/pretentious about it). Last year we produced and released Brazilian singer Tita Lima's critically acclaimed debut album "11:11" and are currently finishing production on Yoruba Records artist Quetzal Guerrero's full-length album (check out his EP out now!!!) as well as Brazilian trombone legend Bocatto's album (due out later this year) celebrating 30 years making music with the greatest names in Brazilian music (Elis Regina, Gal Costa and pretty much everyone else in Brazil). We LOVE music, plain and simple, regardless of style, nation or creed. Music IS our (all of us) style, nation and creed. Don't be afraid of coming back, checking out what we've been up to and tell us what you think... Ashé!!!
