Album Reviews:
-The Real Deal in R&B, Pop and all music!!!!!!!!!!!
My days as a US Army Specialist in Munich Germany were made pleasant with the sounds of portrait in the background of every date I ever went on. The music that they send around the world is what Black, R&B, soul music is all about: Love, beauty and the ability of a Black man to express himself without the disrespect for women that is displayed in Rap music. These Brotha's should return to the Music scene. "Here we go again" are words that I hope to here from these Guys soon.

-Love these guys
I love their mix of jazz, soul, and pop music too. I believe they played their own instruments. I wish I could have seen them live. I am trying to find more cds but only find the greatest hits one. Plus they are cute. Today's groups need to be versatile like them. Great musicians/writers rarely get the real credit they deserve.

-A must have.....
If you like truly smooth R&B you must pick up this CD. What ever happened to this group? If you like groups like Mint Condition you'll love Potrait. Their first CD "All That Matters" I guess is no longer in print, what a shame.

-Portrait....the best
It's a shame these very talented brothers didn't stick around as long as they should have. In an era where most arstic are out to prove their strength and talents in their voices only, lead singers Irving Washington and Philip Johnson uses modest and simplictic singing complimented by the mellow beats (composed mostly by Micheal Salsbury) that is truly artistic and innovative.
