Pans Labyrinth , american beauty, blade runner, LA Confidential, the big sleep, casablanca. Fight Club, American History X, Sin City, just lots of awesome films really. I generally despise weak plots, or those films that base their entire value around badly woven shocks or twists. I thought that "brother where art thou" was atrocious. I make an exception for the "Hudsucker proxy", which reminded me of Tim Burton. One of my favourites "Se7en". "Requiem for a Dream", emotional impact and awesome photography. "Watership Down" is still as scary now as at childhood.
