I suppose I could write an essay on who I played with, studied with, and all kinds of meaningless, narcissistic info. What it comes down to is that it's all about life, a collection of experiences, stimuli, friends lost and found.
Who am I? I love the bass with all my heart. I still remember the first time I saw a Fender Jazz Bass. I was 10. It was a 1970, three color sunbust, belonging to my dad. Maybe it's coincidence that this bass was born the same year I was. There it was in a corner of our attic: lonely, dusty, out-of-tune, and ready to be tampered with. I asked my old man to tune it for me and that pretty much started a lifelong journey for me.
Playing that bass enabled me to travel the world many times over and experiencing things that many people write books about. This I will be greatful for...always.
