Oh this is easy, with the exception of roughly one to two shows per season, TV blows. They started letting scary incestual families get up on stage and sing together in the 60's and it all went down hill from there... After all who can top that? I can veg to sci=fi and most court drama trash though.. tap me into discovery or history channel and I might almost be entertained for an extended period.
Books:
Ok first off, this page was almost titled confessions of a comic book geek, so I can read me some funny papers... yessiree. I also enjoy social commentary or anthropology, and I will read almost anything about myth, religion, and the concept of folklore etc. I read my share of Sci-fi and Fiction. Basically the goal is a book a month but Im one of those lazy roustabouts that has a ton of free time, so I have to be careful, otherwise I start reading and then realize its been 3 days and I should probably do that lingering artwork I promised to have in by deadline, only my family has all died twice so I have no more excuses and I can never pull off the alien abduction thing, I always laugh halfway through.
Heroes:
Wow. suddenly things got deep. Heroes. Thats big. I have thought about this quite a bit and its actually a very important subject to me. Im a mama's boy I suppose since she is the one real life person I know who kicked butt and took names to get where she is and still managed not to turn into a cold hard bastard like I see myself and most others drifting towards. I admire a teacher or two at my school that inspire me, and actually more than a few of my local friends, but hero is big. It means something to me and I think it should mean more to everyone, I dont think I can name one in this world. And thats sad, yeah... but Im not quitting yet. Im still looking, and I know they are out there.
