Straight from the streets of Mobtown ( Mobile ), born and raised on the Parkway(D.I.P) & Maysville, Gusto is nothing new to the underground rap scene. He first burst out on the scene as 1/4 of the supergroup 2Tight in 1998 with the album "Southern Ballers", which many classify as a street classic.After overcoming legal issues in his hometown of Mobile, AL, he managed to make the cut on many tracks from labelmate B-Mac's album "Move Like The Wind Blow" 2000. Later that year Gusto also featured on the megacompilation from Universal recording artist Beelow's album "Ballers & Shotcallers" with 2Tight. Again stalled by legal issues, after a short term incarceration, he made it home just in enough time to be featured on a few tracks from newly signed DMP artist's (Hittman) album "Streetlife Without Parole" 2001.After releasing numerous mixtapes ( Lost Chapters vols. 1, 2, & 3: Hittman's "Underground Hustler" ) in 2003, Gusto would have the honor of going from artist on DMP Records to artist and Co-CEO of DMP Records, with DMP Records already being established as a powerhouse in Mobile and on the Gulf Coast. In '04 Gusto kept the momemento rolling by releasing the hit album "Icon Of The City" under DMP artist B-Dameezy which he also featured on.Gusto then teamed up with Hittman to release the mixtape/ album "Street Stories" (the mix show) 2005, which hit the streets like thunder being one of the fastest selling underground albums out of the Gulf Coast.Currently, Gusto is grinding in the studio with Hittman to release Hittman's highly anticipated album "BossLife" in stores winter '07, which he is also featured on.At the same time Gusto has been crafting his solo project "All Or Nothin", that's heavily demanded from the streets!
