About Me

This is my head
You're in my world
and there's no one
but you, girl...
Amazing albums i'm listening to these days. check them out if you have the time:
Thievery Corporation - the Mirror Conspiracy (2000)
Really cool trippy mood stuff. Very Bossanova in feel with hints of some dub and reggae.

Gusgus - This is Normal (1999)
Dreamy house/euro/jazzy groove music from Iceland. Easily their best record with some some great vocals and beats.

Priestbird - In Your Time (2007)
Tarantula A.D. - Book of Sand (2005)
Same band, different names. the Tarantuala A.D. album is a classically infused compositional stoner rock masterpiece, and the Priestbird incarnation is more straightforward, but still very dynamic. Lots of interesting cello, keys, and percussive instrumentation along with some powerful guitars and some decent vocals (mostly on the Priestbird album)

A Fine Frenzy - One Cell in the Sea (2007)
Mellow, McGlaughlin-ish sweet music with a wonderful singer about animals and other storybook stuff.

Kaskade - Here and Now (2006)
Straight up, fairly cheesy House music. some of the buried tracks are really mellow and cool, a few are just hits, and a couple songs are fairly, well, annoying... definitely good to drive/run to...

Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris (2007)
Duh...
myspace.com/queensofthestoneage Bands I am (or was) in... feel free to link up to them and i hope you enjoy the tunes.
The Missing Planes
Dai Atlas
girlpope
Georgia Tucker rock or die.
