I PATER NEMBROT nascono nell’ inverno 2002 dall’ incontro di Giacomo Faedi, Luca Guiduzzi – precedentemente nei Wish of to Change – e Filippo Leonardi – già negli Happy murder. Il 2003 è l’anno in cui la formazione prende ufficialmente forma, con Giulio Casoni alla batteria, Giacomo Faedi al basso e Filippo Leonardi alla voce, chitarra e synth. Alla fine del 2004 partono i primi tentativi di registrazione: "Memoficina" è il risultato di questi tentativi. Dodici pezzi completamente autoprodotti ed in qualche modo autogenerati, registrati su 8 tracce. Alla fine di Agosto 2005 tornano in studio per registrare “Hombre Scarlatte”. Lo studio questa volta è il Bluscuro di Monteleone (FC). Alla cabina di regia ci sono Andrea Comandini e Andrea Zannella. Grazie ad “Hombre Scarlatte” il gruppo riesce ad arrivare alla fase finale delle selezioni regionali per Arezzowave e ad essere presente sulla celebre compilation - creata e curata dal portale www.perkele.it - Desert Sound – The Rise of the Electric World vol. 2, con il pezo “Elettrica, Noia”. E’ in questo momento che la band comincia a maturare: gli spettacoli live diventano sempre più travolgenti ed è a spasso per il nord Italia che raccolgono un consenso sempre maggiore: da Sondrio (arci Demos) a Pesaro (Fuzz), da Mantova (Arcidallò) a Bologna (Artèria), da Modena (Kalinka) a Rimini (Velvet Rock Club, C.s. PAZ,)…. Nell’autunno del 2006 sono di nuovo in studio, questa volta per registrare una cover. Reverberation, dei 13th Floors Elevator, è il ponte che avvicina il gruppo alla GO DOWN RECORDS e al Circolo Fantasma. “Wild sound from the past dimension” è il titolo della compilation, distribuita in tutto il mondo da Audioglobe, che viene pubblicata dalla GO DOWN, verso il finire dell’estate 2007. Durante l’estate 2007 i PATER NEMBROT scelgono l’Atomic Studio di Enrico Zavalloni – ENRi, che vanta collaborazioni con decine di artisti di fama nazionale e mondiale, fra cui spicca Mike Patton ex leader dei Faith No More!!! – per le registrazioni del loro nuovo materiale: "MANDRIA" è il titolo del loro primo album ufficiale. Undici tracce di stoner, psichedelia e rock’n’roll, a cavallo fra il progressive di casa nostra e le chitarre sporche di Seattle: tanto quella di Hendrix, quanto quella di Cobain.L’uscita di MANDRIA è prevista per aprile/maggio 2008 per GO DOWN RECORDS e sarà distribuito da AUDIOGLOBE. Fino ad allora è disponibile "Mandria e.p" contenente 4 pezzi estratti dall’omonimo album

Pater Nembrot formed in winter 2002 but it’s in 2003 the band reaches its actual line up, with Giulio Casoni on drums, Giacomo Faedi on bass and Filippo Leonardi on voice, guitar and synthetizer. On late 2004 the band records a dozen songs, and collect them in "Memoficina". That is the title of their first demo tape. On late August 2005, they are in studio for a second time to record "Hombre Scarlatte", their first self-produced record. Thanks to that recording session, one of their songs called "Elettrica, Noia" has been included on the underground-blasonate compilation "Desert Sound – The Rise of The Electric World vol. 2", created and published by the www.perkele.it crew. And that is the very moment on which PATER NEMBROT begins to grow: their shows increase in number and quality so that they gain attention and respect all across the north side of Italy. In Autumn 2006 they are in studio again. This time for recording a cover. 13th Floors Elevators’ Reverberation is the link that connects the band to Go Down Records. In facts, Reverberation is included on the compilation "Wild Sound From the Past Dimension", published and distributed world wide on late summer 2007. In that very summer the band decides to record once more their material at the Atomic Studio, with Enrico Zavalloni ( a.k.a. ENRi, who has collaborated with many national and international artist and rock guru, such as Faith no More’s Mike Patton, playing with him in the Mondo Cane project!!!). The results of those recording sessions is "MANDRIA": 11 tracks of pure stoner, psychedelic rock’n’roll, suspended between Italian 70’s progressive and Seattle muddy guitars: from Hendrix’s to Cobain’s one. "MANDRIA" will be released by GO DOWN RECORDS on summer 2008 and it will be distributed in Italy, USA and Germany. At this moment, it’s possible to hear some PATER NEMBROT vibes on "MANDRIA e.p." that collects 4 songs extracted from the omonimous album.
