About Me

MONA VIE, the fruit drink with the acai berry in it, is changing my life. Send me a messege and find out how. I AM BLESSED! I had an amazing childhood, with supportive parents to look up to an older sister and brother. Yes, I'm " the baby" =) . They taught me to strive to be the best at whatever I choose to do in life. I love to laugh and I am very adventurous. I am a bit of a perfectionist, which can drive me crazy sometimes. I attended Performing Arts High School "Fame" in New York City (dance major, but also sang in the choir), and continued on to graduate with a B.F.A., magna cum laude, from Howard University. I was recently honored by my alma mater, with an award for excellence and achievements in my field since graduation. I have done 3 Broadway shows; "Aida" (original cast), "Dreamgirls" (the concert), and recenlty starred opposite Christina Applegate, in "Sweet Charity". I have received an award for my performance as Brenda in "Smokey Joe's Cafe", and I have also toured the country as Bette Midler's Harlette. I am currently performing with her in Las Vegas at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace. I have performed in amazing arenas, such as, The Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and The MCI Center, Carnegie Hall and The Anaheim Pond. I sang on the Tony Awards, I have shot several national commercials, some currently on air now, I have had a few guest starring roles on television, hosted "A Makeover Story" on TLC Network and shot a film. I have taught choreography to the graduating class at Julliard as well as the first company of Alvin Ailey, (which ended in an invitation to join the company, by Judith Jameson). Well, I have left Broadway and New York City to head to Hollywood!! We'll see what happens. Either way, I know that God has got it covered!Get Your Own! | View Slideshow
