About Me

So you stumbled across my page. Congratulations - where have you been the rest of my life? Here's where I've been...Busy playing guitar the last 7 years or something, writing songs and things for the last 3, and now starting to step out into the wild wanting to play gigs (but scared that I don't have what it takes!), open-mic nights, and record + release a full length CD to see what the people think. My most recent adventure was driving over to Perth (from Melbourne - 3500km's) with a few copies of my CD and sell as many as I can! The trip was amazing, to say the least. I met so many wonderful people and had such a great learning experience. But 5-6 months wasn't long enough, so next time will have to be a year or five. In the mean time, I'm busy studying a bachelor of Music performance at Vic Uni to get the skills needed to make some sort of living doing music, or so I hope. I've figured out it's really down to the individual. If you have the guts and determination to get something, you'll find a way of succeding (preferably without becoming corrupt and dishonest!) I've still got this here map that shows the stops that I made along the way across the other side of Australia, simply because there's nothing else new or interesting to post up. But when there is... you'll be the first to know!

I've still got a few songs (that are already on here) on the Triple J Unearthed comp, the one Missy Higgins won... It'd be awesome if you could check it out and rate the song, even leave a review so I can get some feedback and if I get enough hype maybe they'll play my song on the radio! I'll leave it up to you.
