D.I.A.A. Drunk In Anahuac Again

About Me

GJW was born in Beaumont, TX, and raised in Anahuac and Pine Island, TX. Anyone who has ever been to Anahuac knows that there is not much to do unless you make it happen, which he has always seemed to do. GJW went on to Texas A&M University in the fall of 2000. By the time he was 21 he was already on his way back to Anahuac; a result for having just a little too much fun during his time in College Station. The one thing he did take away from the experience was an old acoustic guitar and the slight ability to play. Anahuac proved once again just a little too small for GJW, from which he moved to Nashville, TN, and attended the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) on the legendary Music Row. Armed with the knowledge of the inner workings of all things music, GJW came back to TX and found himself once again in College Station. Meeting many musicians and running sound for many more, has really shaped his own style of music. Grant lost the use of one of his vocal chords to an ongoing fight with cancer in December of 2001 but has never let this stop him. He adapted his singing style and has never looked back. UPDATE: GJW is currently recording his first full band record. Dave Boyd on Bass, Raymond Earwood on Drums, and Mike Luna on lead and everything Guitar. It is guaranteed to completely blow your mind...maybe...hopefully...hell just don't use it as a coaster.
