My name is Jesse... I'm from the best place in the world, Texas. I love to travel, I love business and help run a nice one, I love to laugh and I love my life... I'm learning the fiddle, hopefully getting better. Oh! and every time I travel to San Antonio I HAVE to stop at Buccees, it's the best.
A few years ago I was involved in a mission trip that changed my life. While taking a dip in a mountain spring, hidden deep in Mexico, I was suddenly surrounded by children from a nearby village selling homemade trinkets and necklaces. The children looked like they havn't bathed for days, their clothes were worn to rags trying to help provide for their family. Only wanting a few pesos for a necklace i was moved to give them a $20.00 American bill out of my wallet (almost 6 months wages in that town). The smiles on the childrens face will always be etched in my memory as they ran to give the bill to their mother, that was one of the most awesome experiences of my life. Life is full of moments that redefine who we are. Something so insignificant to us can mean so much to another.
I still wear the necklace today.
