The Access, a 5-piece band out of the South Texas area, came together in July 2006 with one goal in mind: To change and inspire a Generation, that is called by God to change the world, through the music that they play.
Front-man, Justin Michaels says, “Our goal is to help people. Any kind of people. From church people to unchurched people. Anyone who is willing to listen and if they’re willing to listen, then we’ve got something they can listen to.â€
Nick Daniel, the bands guitarist, says, “We want to produce great music, but music that doesn’t stray from the godly values and morals that have been taught to us by our home church and our families.â€
“We want to make music with meaning. The last thing we want to do whenever we get up to play, is put on a show. We want people to come to a concert but leave knowing they’ve just had an experience, that they’ve been touched and changed by God†says Michaels.
“We know there’s a generation out there waiting for something real. Something that they’ve never experienced before and we believe we are one of the many ministries out there that can bring something new and fresh to a generation lost and dying and ready for something fresh and we know that can only come through Jesus Christ.â€
The Access is now in the beginning stages of recording their first full-length album, which is set to release in 2008.
