I was born in Hamburg, Germany on June 16, 1975. My mother was a teacher at one of the local conservatories and I quickly realized that music was my calling. At the age of 5 I asked for a violin and focused my practice in order to become the best violinist I could become. At the age of 12 I began to win a series of talent competitions and at 15 gave my first full recital. By the age of 21 I had toured Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia as soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral violinist. Additionally, I have performed recitals and concertos in selected cities within Latin America and Africa. Countries performed in include Colombia, Mexico, USA, Canada, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Peoples Republic of China (Hong Kong), Jordan, Israel, Egypt, South Africa, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Netherlands, Italy, etc. Most recently I visited the People’s Republic of China’s cities of Shanghai, Guangzhou, X’ian, and Xiang Yang as part of an International Trade Mission. On November 28 I had a half hour interview on kscn roots 88.5 FM Los Angeles and on the 30th of November played my first all Paganini recital held at Herbert Zipper Hall in the Corlburn School of Music. I have also had the pleasure and honor of working with some incredible pop stars that include Josh Groban, Ben Moody, Clay Aiken, Melida Doolittle and Michael W. Smith. I have recently discovered that my great grand father passed away in Santa Monica in 1951 and was the conductor of the Hamburg Opera in Germany prior to WWII and the accompaniest to Pablo de Sarasate as well as the conductor for the Los Angeles/San Francisco Opera Association and guest conductor at the Hollywood Bowl.
