Michael Munayer, has graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music with a BA in Music Education 1997. He also has done graduate studies in violin performance at George Mason University. Michael, began private violin lessons at the age of 13.Michael, is currently an orchestra director in the public schools, and has his own private studio. Michael, has performed his first public recital (other than college performances) on May 25, 2008. He performed music of J.S Bach, C. Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakoff, J. Brahms, and Pablo de Sarasate. His goal is to perform more solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and record a CD of classical standards.He is a member of Washington DC Federation of Musicians, (ASTA) American Strings Teachers Association, Prince William Symphony, and the Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra. He has aslo served as violin Judge for All State Maryland Orchestra Senior Auditions and as adjudicator for the Solo & Ensemble Festival in Maryland and Virginia.Michael currently teaches students privately at contemporary Music Center and at his home in Centreville, Virginia.
