Capturing the Essence of Life - Fine Art by April A. Meyette

About Me

View My Collection of Original Art, Paintings, and Drawings! My passion is capturing the essence of life around me in the form of drawing and painting. The human form, especially the face and the emotions that it can convey, are my primary focus. Art carries a life of it's own for me. It is in every fiber of my being and I can not imagine my life without a paintbrush or pencil in my hand. My goal is for the viewer to see the soul of my work; to make them wonder what the subject's life story is and who they are.I am a self-taught artist. Most of my work has been sold and are in personal collections in several countries of the world. I also have a deep love for painting murals and have painted several of them through out the country.I enjoy fitness and working out. There's nothing like a good workout to get your day going. :)I am happily married with a son and a daughter. My husband and I, along with others, are involved in the Emerging conversation and loving it very much. We're all for a relevant christian walk, not one bogged down by processes and boundaries. We love giving God everything and letting Him have full reign in our lives. We live for Jesus and love Him with our whole heart. Our focus is solely on Him. I love to worship Him through my artwork.

You Are a Cappuccino
You're fun, outgoing, and you love to try anything new. However, you tend to have strong opinions on what you like. You are a total girly girly at heart - and prefer your coffee with good conversation. You're the type that seems complex to outsiders, but in reality, you are easy to please What Kind of Coffee Are You?
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern, You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Music:

I enjoy all forms of music, from classical to symphonic metal. However, one form of music I just can't tolerate is Bluegrass.

Movies:

I do not watch many movies, but I do enjoy a few such as Narnia and Emma.

Television:

I don't care to watch television. I do have Bones, House, and Numbers set to automatically record on Tivo and then I'll watch them when the mood strikes me.

Books:

I enjoy mysteries and read quite a lot. I absolutely detest romance novels or any type of book that is love-sick.

Heroes:

Jesus is my hero. I strive to live for Him.Your results:
