About Me

I’m a multi-dimensional woman of contrasts. Many have tried (and failed) to pigeon-hole me, so my advice is not to bother trying, as you’ll only confuse yourself! Learn to accept others as you find them. I welcome change, and refuse to remain stagnant for too long, therefore my style, views, tastes and beliefs are constantly evolving. My core values are the only perpetual aspect of my being…..I will NEVER knowingly compromise these, as they shape the person I am today.Respect is the most important thing to me. I simply don’t understand people who suffer derogatory treatment from a partner, then use ‘Love’ as an excuse to stay. What the fuck has Love got to do with it?! What about Respect? Pride? Integrity? I don’t suffer fools gladly, and my attitude towards you will serve as a direct reflection of your treatment of me. I can be an angel or a devil…..the choice is yours!I’m a dreamer, so my head is often in the clouds, yet at the same time I’m completely grounded and down to earth. I’m not interested in huge sweeping gestures….it’s the small things in life that make me tick. I prefer gifts from the heart, rather than the pocket. I abhor arrogance and snobbery….NEVER presume you’re superior to others just because you’re more privileged. I don’t give a damn how intelligent, or attractive, or affluent you ‘think’ you are….these attributes do NOT constitute a good person in my mind, so to use them as a substitute for common decency is a gross misconduct of character.I absolutely love music…..anything that can transport me to a higher state of consciousness deserves respect and adoration. I have found my utopia on the dancefloor….it’s all about allowing the myriad of sounds absorb your body and mind, losing your inhibitions and achieving that sense of euphoria that only music (and sex!) can bring. My taste in music is very diverse, and there’s so much widespread talent throughout the industry that deserves recognition, so I refuse to restrict myself to a certain genre. I can pretty much stomach anything except 'R&B' [spits in disgust] - in fact, they should just do away with these letters from the alphabet altogether!! My idea of a living hell is to be trapped in an all-night R&B club...with all that bumping and grinding...I would seriously consider taking my own life! :o)I can be very deep and philosophical when in 'contemplative mode', but I also love to muck around and have a good laugh. The older I get, the less responsible I want to be. I try not to take myself too seriously, and like to be around open-minded people who adopt the approach 'live and let live'. We're a long time dead, so let's get busy living!

I like to read biographies & memoirs of people who have suffered fucked up lives, yet have found the strength to succeed and laugh in the face of adversity.
