About Me

Formed in 2000 as a solo project, The Hair Thieves took their name from a Eddie Izzard sketch, about why old ladies only ever buy dog food and hair nets.
In the last few years with several personal coming and quickly going again, several tracks have been released and several less live performances have occured.
Late 2005 sees The Hair Thieves expanded with the addition of a 2nd guitarist in Ian "E" Packman, formally of Red Star Radio.
Read the blog to learn why it takes Chris & Ian so long to actually write and record new songs.
Janauary 2006 saw the release of EP1. This has now sold out, though available from our soundclick store. EP2 was released in September 2006.
Codge, formally of Sold as Slaves, The jumps, Unit 37, joined the ranks of the Hair Thieves in September 2007
