Sharelle Quick - Singer/Sonwriter; Born in Pontiac, MI on Jan 6th just 30 minutes after her twin sister, Michelle, Sharelle made her first public appearance.
Raised on harmony and humor, Sharelle is hard to compare. If your ears had eyes, picture Linda Rondstadt, Karen Carpenter, Barbara Mandrell and Elvis all mixed up into one performer...that's Sharelle. Unique sounds of the soul could describe Sharelle's music. All heartfelt, though at times humorous, Sharelle's songs will connect with some eternal part of you. Not a copy cat artist or writer by any means Sharelle is sure to be entertaining...Sharelle is not just heard, she is experienced with your every sense.
Singer/Sonwriter; Born in Pontiac, MI on Jan 6th just 30 minutes after her twin sister, Michelle, Sharelle made her first public appearance.
She has worn so many hats already in life. At 17 years old she became a CNA while also attending CPCC and studying Recording Studio Tech. By age 24 she and her husband had 4 children. By age 25 she was making hand-dipped chocolates and baked goods for gift shops (and still dabbles in the sweet stuff from time to time) then owned and operated a coffee shop/bakery. She knows her way around a work shop and power tools and has been known to get her hands dirty under the hood of a car and got her certification for working on automotive AC units. She got her real estate broker license and has operated her own real estate firm for a couple of years. There are some big plans ahead - stay tuned!! She believes that you can learn to do anything with the right tools and knowledge. She has worked for recording studios as a vocalist although she had two years of Recording Studio Tech and is well qualified to be on the fader side of a sound board.
Music runs through her veins. From early in life Sharelle knew what she wanted in life...to sing and write. Harmony was learned in the car with 3 sisters on long trips. That required harmony of all sorts!
The volume on Sharelle's music was turned down to low for a time while her kids were very young. Although it was on low, it allowed for much reflection and writing. Then in May of 2003 the biggest life changing event occurred. For the first AND last time in her life she thought it was a good idea to take a ride in the back of a pick up truck. Someone ran a stop sign at a crossroad and Sharelle was thrown from the truck bed. She feels very blessed to have survived the accident. She suffered a broken sternum, broken pelvis and shattered right forearm. She underwent two years of surgery on her right arm in an attempt to obtain relatively normal functionality. Through that experience the volume in her soul has been turned back up. Life is too short to not spend every second wisely while reaching for your dreams. "After all," she says, "if you don't try to bring your dreams from the shadows to the spotlight, who is gonna do that for you?"
Sharelle has performed for thousands at a time as well as small intimate private parties. She has been a volunteer member of the NarroWay Productions cast for several years and is a guest performer at The Charlotte Rescue Mission. She loves to talk with people and listen to their story 'cause everyone has a story worth hearing since every life is worth living.
Sharelle's goal? "To pluck the emotional heart strings and to share hope through her music...to help people realize that you don't have to let the experiences of your past be the author of your future."

When do the batteries in Life need replaced?

I keep waiting for the batteries on Life to run down or at the very least slow down! Why is it that we can’t seem to get a grasp on the hands of time? They are slippery little suckers that care ...
