I love music. I like food. I enjoy laughing! I love the beach, flip flops and talking to people. And DUCKS!! So... ideally, I would be on a beach wearing flip flops, eating food and listening to music whilst talking to people and laughing with them. (WITH them, not AT them) Surrounded by ducks. And baby ducks. With little roller skates on so they'd fall over and I could help them. (NB: 'Help them' translates to, 'put them in my pocket, take them home and let them live in my bath.')
I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet the members of my family who live so far away that I have never been fortunate enough to meet them before. That would be interesting. We could have a big barbeque in the garden,and eat CHERRY TOMATOES!! It would be rather jolly don't you know.
Also I wouldn't mind meeting jazz violinist, Stephane Grappelli (RIP) so I could lend him my electric violin and see what funky tunes he could play on that baby - wicked! Distortion turned on, naturally. Unfortunately he has now passed away, so this idea is slightly unrealistic. But hey, if it were possible...

I really enjoyed that classic, 'Accordian Music For Dancing Llamas'. Oh, we had a right rolicking time with that one...Really I think I like a little bit of everything. Almost anything really... Variety is the spice of life. For instance, my final year dissertation was to do with something along the lines of Classical/Heavy Metal music fusions. Diversity is good.

Movies:
When I was little, I watched Babe several hundred times on video. That was a good year... Now I like a variety of films. Particular favourites might include O Brother Where Art Thou? (Damn, we're in a tight spot!), Stand By Me, umm... and The Piano. However, after writing about The Piano for an assignment at uni the enjoyment has been taken away slightly... Oooh, I also saw Singin' in the Rain for the first time when writing about Music Films - if you want inspiration to take up tap-dancing, watch it. Trust me.

Phil and Fern are the best...
Books:
I don't read enough at the moment but have enjoyed Nicholas Evans' novels: The Horse Whisperer, The Loop, The Smoke Jumper, The Divide. They make me want to go and live in rural America somewhere, in a wooden house next to a big mountain.
Heroes:
I look up to those who show compassion and those brave enough to try anything once. I believe it is a good thing to give blood if you are able to, you can then be considered a mini-hero for giving something up that is so small yet could save somebody's life.
