I am here for Friends

About Me

I can't stand the thought of not being involved in your current disgrace. Future long gone daddy in the U.S.A. Gonga lives.

My Interests

SES digs: the 3Bs, cool nights, firelight, ebony eyes, far-out crops, dark empty alleys, crushed ice, extra ketchup, Gonga masks, Zia fresh cleansing gel, the power cosmic, sick color, 6.4

I'd like to meet:

Devil women. Night owls. Identical cheese hostesses.

Music:

My awesome mixed tapes feature these amazing recording artists: Gary Wilson, Bob Welch, Exile, Little River Band, Chilliwack, (Sir) Cliff Richard, Starbuck, Walter Egan, Paul Davis, Saga, Angel, Judas Priest, Hall/Oates, Gordon Lightfoot, Mel Tillis, Loverboy, Doug Andrews, Toto, Vangelis (with or without Jon), Jay Ferguson, Gerry Rafferty, Jeff Beck, Shoes, Schoolly D, Circus Devils, Rodd Keith, Diamond Reo, April Wine and so many, many more!

Importantly, the sound of Robert Quine's guitar sends me alternately to a melting hot NYC fire escape and the gutter beneath it. My disposition is akin to the tunes "Thirty Threes" by Tony Banks and "Eighty Eights" by Tom Verlaine. Currently making life worth living: Phil Manzanera's "Listen Now" and, of course, my latest awesome mix tape!

Movies:

My taste in film has been marked being of "low quality". Perhaps. Quality time has been spent with: Blood Freak, Kenny &Co., almost anything with Jenny Wright, Laserblast, Damnation Alley, Capricorn One, March Or Die, Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Prince of Darkness, Neighbors, Greaser's Palace, Jim Bob's Surprise, 8 Million Ways to Die, Firestarter (the version in my mind), Looker, Voodoo Black Exorcist, Exorcist III, THE Soldier, In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro, Maximum Overdrive, The Psychic, Starcrash, Deadbeat at Dawn, Dawn of an Evil Millennium...

ALSO, Up In Smoke - truly, Stacy Keach is unheralded and I play selections from his 154 readings of Shakespeare's sonnets to get my lady friends in the mood... for love!

Television:

It's really difficult for me to watch television, mainly because I worked on these shows: House Beautiful, Classmates, Incurable Collector, The Discovery Channel 2001 World Championship Adventure Race - Switzerland, World's Greatest Hoaxes (Secrets Finally Revealed!), U.F.O.s: The Best Evidence Ever (Caught On Tape)!, Why In The World Do They Do That?

Television is a barnyard of mental garbage populated by human nothingburgers. I'd rather watch my SCTV dvds or the show with Tuba Girl (my sweetie). Recently, while drunk in Las Vegas, I saw the informercial for The Midnight Special dvds and ordered $160 worth of 'em - that's the stuff!

Books:

My literary influences were my classmates in creative writing at Piedmont Continuation High School, David Saxton's "A Day At Boarding School" in particular. Liz Hildebrand's "My Struggle" still breaks my little heart. Christopher Mulrooney's user comments on the Internet Movie Database are odd but quite killer.

Heroes:

Edgar Froese, Pooch/Corely, E. Bloom/D. Roeser, my cuz Michael T., my bodyguard.
