Shmups

We'll meet again someday soon.

About Me

Welcome to the 2D scrolling shmups appreciation page.

If you are not familiar with the term, "shmups," it is a shortened and easier way to say and write "shoot-em-ups." Also known as shooters. One of the last remaining genres of video game that require true skill.

Do not get this confused with First Person Shooters (FPS.)

This page is dedicated to two types of shmups:

Vertically Scrolling Shmups such as Espgaluda, DoDonPachi DAI-OU-JOU, Ikaruga, etc.

Side Scrolling Shmups such as Gradius, Border Down, Darius, R-Type etc.

I'll have shmups soundtrack selections available for listening; If there's something you would like to hear, feel free to leave song requests in the comments section.

Keep an eye on the blog for updates!
