About Me

Ignore the subliminal messages. There are no subliminal messages. Er...
Ah, yes, the eternal question. I suppose it depends on the day. Mostly, I'm an artist/illustrator residing in Illinois Suburbia. I'm shamelessly displaying some of my recent work on this page. I'll work on keeping new stuff coming over time. Other than that, I'm the typical neurotic yet well meaning girl... It's important to me to be passionate about something. Right now, it's my future, my art, music, my little existance...
"Sweet"
"Am I OK?"
My inspirations includes illustration, comics, street art, tattoos, etc, etc. Industrial music is a huge driving force for me, as well as most things bizarre and odd, maybe even innocently perverse. Did you follow that? I eternally struggle with the balance of my day to day life and the failure I know I've become as a superhero (my day job). Blasted unreliable super-powers. Hey, it beats life in a cubicle.

My Interests

"Postnatal"
Illustration to the short story.

ART- in many forms, 'Pop Surrealism/lowbrow/street art... something...', and many illustrators like Jon Foster, Phil Hale, Dave McKean... I grew up loving sci-fi illustration. Painting, Drawing, Hitting things (I miss my punching bag) I am passionate about live music but don't get to as many shows as I'd like. Tattoo and Pin-up culture, mid-century modern design, sci-fi, computers... all kinds of stuff. Honestly, I'm a well rounded closet geek. I no longer fight it... Ah, who am I fooling, I never did.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with any ideas, passions, suggestions, input, rants, or general complaints, by all means let me have it, for I, myself, do own a well used soap box. I'm always looking for a good conversation. :) Especially, I'd like to meet other creative minds.

Up and running! Yeah, I'm no web master, but it's a start... I'll try to keep updating it as I get new work done and learn a trick or two on web design!

Somehow I see a man sitting at a desk, in front of a computer, and he is trying to hold onto a strand of insanity and deal with the world.  He is telling me that everything is better now, and in ...

Taxes and an egg dish.

Nothing to make you question the fair order of the earth like doing your taxes.  What madness to think the absurdly small amount of money I make would be mine.  The joys of being a responsib...

Where’s my damn soap box?!?!

DO NOT GET COMFORTABLE. What do you think you are doing?  Take your feet off of that table and get off of that couch and take a good look at yourself, being all complacent.  What do you...

what’s next

It's almost the end of the year, and upon reflection, I'd have to say that this year has been one of the most challenging years of my life.  There have been many major changes, mostly for the bet...

Im obsessed with pajamas

Of all the paint that drips down my brush, down my fingers and onto my clothes, I wish you were the blue. All the colors pool up on my lap, like salt water and startlingly cold, all I feel is thirsty. ...

my momentary lapse of reason

I see patterns everywhere, they are inescapable.  There is a forebearing sense of doom tickling the bottom of my feet.  But it's just another day in the life of a giant knat. On many an occa...

Feeling Nostalgic

Writing a Bad Joke If they ever ask you what color my eyes were, you'll say 'dull.'  I know you think so, it doesn't affect me. The trouble with affection is that it's nothing but a symptom,...
