Boston Native Lord Linz aka tha Gambler bka Tke Cekret Weapon, is a strong force in the music business taking the underground hip-hop culture by storm. Lord Linz refuses to get caught in the matrix of the music business. Instead jumped in the game simply to create. Refusing to be labeled or defined in one category, Lord Linz is ready to explore and challenge the music industry by crossing boundaries and continually evolving his music so that the people enjoy. Influenced by legends such as Naz, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, Biggie, Big Punn to Kool G. Rap and Slick Rick. Lord Linz began his career at the age of thirteen on the streets of Boston. Lord Linz draws his strength and memory from a close friend and comrade, Charmaine Snipes(CS) who was killed in the early nineties. Lord Linz is a part of Cekret Society and Cekret Society Records L.L.C. Lord Linz has been featured of several albums including the Team Players LP, The Best of Cekret Society Vol. 1, Top Cekret, Mass Distruction2 , just to name a few. Lord Linz caught the attention of veterans in the game and opened up for Cappadonna of Wu Tang, 50 Cent, Royce 5'9 along side Bostons own D.L. Lord Linz has performed in several Popular nightclubs including Vertigo, Boston, Cosmopolitan, Rhode Island, Milky Way, J.P Mass, and The Western Front, Cambridge. In addition Lord Linz has made several radio appearances in New England such as Jamin' 94.5 FM, MIT 88.7 FM, and WERS 88.9 FM. Lord Linz is set to release the LP, Cekret Identity,Tha Gambler's Story distributed by Commonwealth Records. Label owner Dru Garitty sighned Lord Linz after he witnessed the magnitude of talent the Boston rapper possesed. Lord Linz along with fellow label owners (Cekret Society Records L.L.C) plan on building a successful independent record label in Massachusetts to strengthen the entertainment industry in their hometown.
