A native son of the City of Brotherly Love, Lefty was raised throughout the city limits. As a youth he was surrounded by numerous musical influences. His mother made it a point to keep good music playing in the presence of her 3 children. She would play artists suchas Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Tom Jones, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Miles Davis, Run DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Heavy D, Public Enemy, KRS-One and many others. The older he became the more he was drawn in. By the age of 12 he was singing in his church's youth choir where he became a standout. He sang on the choir until the age of 17, at which time he gain an affinity for Hip Hop. He had seen the response that his older brother (Mr. Sinista) was recieving for his lyrical prowess. That pretty much sealed the deal. He would write rhymes trying to impress his brother, but never met the level of approval that he wanted. At age 18, Lefty entered the US Air Force. Stationed in South Dakota, a culture shock to say the least, he started writing again. One day in 1999 he met now good friend and fellow emcee L Sev. The two along with Yaya, Science, D-Fiyah and Slink formed a group called Dayzed Wunz. This is the point in life when Lefty starts to take Hip Hop seriously. He and his crew started texting battles on LNP (Lyrical Net Phenoms), a web community created by Phene. (You can find Phene here on Myspace)After leaving the Air Force, things fell apart like that Roots theme. Lefty had to deal with the struggles of life. This would prepare him for the trials of the game. One day his friend Encore called him to invite him to a session where he would meet with a team of emcees. This team was trying to make an impression on Hip Hop. Since that day it has been balls to the wall. He and Encore are now dynamic group known as Aficienado Exclusives. Right now the two are in the process of putting together a mixtape to bring the love back to the Hip Hop game. The group frequently can be found at The Medusa Lounge located at 21st Chestnut Sts. Other affiliates are Magnum Opus, Joey Capers, Ethel Cee, Godhead the General, & Ahdchild.Thank You For Veiwing And Listening!!!!! Peace!!!
