On February 23, 1973 a song writer was born with a talent for rapping and entertaining. Abdezee (Ab-deh-zee) resides in Sacramento, California and was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born into a military family Abdezee has been fortunate to live all across the nation. Having lived in Mississippi, Tennessee, Nevada, Colorado and California his influences are endless which comes across in his music.Abdezee understands nothing comes without hard work and determination. Earning his AA degree at Hartnell College in Salinas, California he also understands that education is a must on any level. Currently working towards his Bachelors degree, the concept of learning as a life long mission is firmly embedded in this man's character. "Lessons learned in the streets and in the class make up my music," says Abdezee. Being a single parent of a two year old son has made him realize what's most important in life and that's family. Fatherhood has focused Abdezee. Providing a better life for his son is the mission and his music is the light at the end of the tunnel.Although Abdezee is new to the music industry business he has been putting quality music down for ten-plus years. He recorded his first solo project at SRT Studios in Sacramento and has been on numerous local collaborations. The "Wrath of the Merciful" project took a total of two weeks to record however it was not rushed. "I make it my business to memorize my songs so I know them backwards and forward to optimize studio time," he explains. It's no wonder he was nicknamed "The Professional" for banging out track after track in the studio. Abdezee is also no stranger to the stage. Performing at the Colonial Theater, The Crest and countless other venues it is evident that he is already a seasoned performer. Selling tracks locally has produced a buzz and positive vibe about the project. "I intend to take my music to the highest of heights and to leave no stone uncovered," says Abdezee.Being new to the game there are still many doors for Abdezee to walk through. Doors that lead to opportunities such as radio play, locating a management team, scoring a record deal and distribution. With a style all his own Abdezee's sound blows through speakers like a breath of fresh air. As a wise man once said, "The game needs me." Yes, the game does need Abdezee!
