Jerome was born at the end of 2002 in a sad day when the head of the project, Jonathan, was dismissed. He didn't know that the girl had a boyfriend at home and he didn't know that the boyfriend was searchin' for him all trough the city. Jonathan took his guitar and a 4tracks tape recorder to testify his disappointment. Jerome was born. The name is taken from the movie "Gattaca", shoot with a low budget but an high elegance. In summer 2003 came out the first album, "lost passenger from planet 666", with the hit single "Trash Basket". In 2004 Jonathan met Tommaso Colliva, AKA Toomi, a great producer that worked with afterhours, Muse and Phoenix. The project became indietronic and now, two years later, is ready "The Invisible Plague Of Mental (p)Illness", with the hit single "Mathmos Exploding". Some songs was played with the ingegnouses hands of some Italian players: Andrea Belfi and Bruno Vanessi from Rosolina Mar ("Inmates Disco Party"), Enrico "Lonigo" Gelati from Afraid ("Mathmos Explodin'"), Lea Tommasi ("Sofia and the Sun of June") Luca Micheli from Leyelibra ("Farsi un Martini/Spiazzarsi"). In september will start a long tour in Italy, where Jonathan will play alone with his computers for some problematic economic reasons.
