~~~TCKeys was born in Memphis though he spent some years living in Birmingham. He draws influences from any music that can be genuinely felt. Any music from Jazz to Classical to Showtunes to Soundtracks to Contemporary Christian/Gospel can be found in his collection. His heart, however, is for Christian/Gospel music. As long as the music can be felt and understood by the soul and not just move the flesh, he connects with it.
~~~Music is one of the most precious gifts that God has given mankind to convey messages. When is it done correctly and used correctly, it can be one of the most powerful weapons on earth. Not many other mediums can be so universal as to transcend languages and still give the same feeling to totally different types of people. TCKeys just feels blessed and honored that God has allowed the gift of music to flow through his life.
~~~TCKeys comes from a musically inclined lineage. There are not many families that have everyone in every branch play an instrument or be able to hold a note in song. A good number even excel in their talent, skill and gifting. This goes back even as far as his grandfather who played guitar, sang, as well as did radio with Blues legend BB King. Moving up the family tree, he even has an uncle who was asked to go on the road and play piano/organ for Gospel legend Andre'a Crouch. Music is deeply rooted in the family and definitely has streched out to this branch.
