SCAPBOOKING!! I love spending time with my friends and family. Next to God, they are the most important aspect of my life. Over the past few months I have learned so many new lessons and God has blessed me with some most wonderful people to support me and be there for me. God has really been molding and shaping me to prepare me for the next step he has in my life~which I am trying to wait patiently to find out what that step will be. My life verse is Isaiah 40:31~"But they that WAIT upon the Lord shall renew their strenght; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary; they shall walk and not faint" and another verse that has been presenting itself over and over to me is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord;thoughts of peace, not of evil, to give you an expected end". God is so good and He blesses me every day. I am so thankful my future is in His hands!
I'd like to meet:
Anyone who loves to scrapbook! I like to meet new people and make new friends. I always enjoy meeting people with similar interest and people I can relate too. I love traveling and meeting people of different races and cultures. I would like to meet my grandfathers~I never had that opportunity since both passed long before I was even thought of. I would also like to meet my Uncle Frank who once my grandfather died, took over the role of being a father to my mother. My Uncle Frank knew me, but I never had the opportunity to know him as he died when I was very little. I am very blessed that one day I will have the opportunity to meet all of these wonderful men when I get to Heaven and I can't wait to give them a big hug!
Music:
"Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without"
I pretty much like anything, except music with bad words and lyrics. Music speaks to me~ my music depends on my mood. I love to pump up the volume and jam when I'm in my truck~the only time I can get away with singing out loud
Movies:
Amazing Grace and Facing the Giants are two of the most moving, inspiring movies I have ever seen.
I also like romantic comedies and "high school" movies. I'm not really a plot thinker, I generally watch movies for entertainment purposes unless it is just an extremely good movie~(such as mentioned above)!
Television:
I love 80's/90's t.v. shows. I love oldie goldies~reruns and so forth. Nick at Night, T.V. Land, ABC family daytime shows. I love humor (not slapstick humor) sticoms.
Books:
The Bible,most of the books I read are on a kindergarten level! I do like juvenile fiction books.
Heroes:
My family, especially by big brothers Jimmy and Michael
who have alway been an AWESOME example of how a Godly Christian man should be. I can only pray to find a man that is like my brothers. My dad is also such a wonderful man, he is retired now but he spent so many years working hard and providing for our family. My mom is the best!~I don't know where I would be without my mother~she definately gets to me sometimes, but I know she is always there for me no matter what and she loves me and supports me.My heros also include all of the men and women who are serving for our country~and not only them but their families.
