Raised in osnabrueck/ germany, Chinch 33 has had a passion for music, which has been the driving force behind his every musical endeavor. Eager to make a musical contribution he could call his own, in 1996/1997 he and fellow dj, Djens founded 33 funk, a legendary local turntablist crew. With the help of Dj Gavin they produced and ran a local radio program apporpriatly titled 33 funk on air. Riding the wave of success spawning from this initial project, the crew was rebirthed with the new members Dj Gavin and Mar 1.
With the emerge of schwarz auf weiss (Steve-ski, Chinch 33, Dr.Huse and TillSkillz) in 2000 another artistic avenue was traveled by Chinch. The band remains on going project currently on temporary hiatus. On a mission to find himself musically, Chinch 33 set forward on a solo exploration, the result of which being his debut album “escape from the incubatorâ€. Now Chinch is expanding his reach across the globe, working with artists from several different countries, and of course holding down osnabrueck with that real shit. He plans to continue his work and compile more new releases in the immediate future.
