On the rise since 2000, rappers YOUNG TRAYNE and TEFLON PIT have been making their mark on the Baton Rouge underground music scene. With Trayne representing the BLOCMUNSTARZ(Dat Boy Kenny, BC aka Bad Child, Lil Flow) and Pit representing DA POUND(CLiF, SKRaPP, FREE EZ, Maniac MiKe, Piney, Young Fatal), they set out to show their talent and show the industry what their really made of. In October 2003, they relesed their first mixtape entilted "Trayne & Pit Mixtape Vol.1 The Sneaker Boxx, The Thug Below." The mixtape was instantly viewed as a hood classic and the start of the duos promising carrer. Young Trayne hailing from the streets of OAKTOWN(Glen Oaks) and Teflon Pit growing up on the SOUTHSIDE of Baton Rouge, the two have incredible chemistry in and out of the booth and have a style thats is unlike any other from their hometown. Thanks to the help and support of the LOST SOLZ(Jay the Talent, Jimi Jump, Trig O Nometry, MacMooney, Mr. Green, Big Blaze, Beathoven, Nasty Nate) they have been able to get there music heard across the city and state. Releasing their second mixtape in August 2004 and signing with GRIND TYME ENT.(R.I.P. LIL HANDY), Baton Rouge has been taken by storm. Now on their own, with their third mixtape on the streets and solo projects in the works, Trayne & Pit are more than ready to take their spot as the sickest in the city.
