About Me

If I could describe myself in a sentence it would be: I am an educated, sarcastic/funny (I keep my friends in stitches), honest, caring woman who has a passion for cooking and the medical field but cannot spell to save her life, who is both a homebody but LOVES to travel (Places include the majority of the US of A, Canada, Mexico, China, Australia (3X), Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, England, and Ireland, plus many more to come). While I may be an anomaly of sorts, at least I'm original.

My Interests

Food is not just for nourishment, there is a reason that certain types are called 'soul food'. It not only feeds your soul, but your heart and your life. The way people respond to good food is like nothing else. Have you ever had food so good that you sing?

I'd like to meet:

I would like to reconnect with people from my past, stay in touch with those from my present, and meet people who will follow me into my future. If you are into the dating scene, I have just been re-released back into the wild. I am looking for an educated, humorous, and thoughtful man. Someone who I am able to discuss literature, politics, and the daily gossip that is my life. (This is to include newly learned information such as augmentative/alternative communication devices, medical mysteries, and the state of the California schools) Other items include someone who can laugh at the Simpsons and King of the Hill. I want someone who is well rounded, an equal, and who I will be able to enjoy life with.

CSI, Lost, Dr. 90210 (it's SO bad, you HAVE to watch it), The Girls Next Door (ditto)

Books:

I go through phases. Currently it's fiction. The Mermaid Chair, The Kiterunner, and Slaughterhouse Five, as well as Welcome to the Monkey House. So what is currently by my bedside? The Master and Margarita (by request) and The Devil in the White City.
