BIG NEWS!
The Brain Studio has aquired a piece of Australian Recording History!
We have taken over the neighbouring studio,ex-SUN STUDIOS/ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN.Its huge.A massive 275 square meters.Prior to The Brain Studio taking over the space it hosted sessions for Billy Thorpe,Inxs,Massapeal,The Rockmellons,Jerk,Mick Heart and many many more.
In the first week of being taken over by The Brain Studio we have hosted sessions for The Scare,Nobody Knew They Were Robots and DANIEL JOHNS(Silverchair).So were off to a flying start.Have a look at our new photos,or better yet,drop in and have a look for yourself.
THE "OTHER" BIG NEWZ!
MUSHU have been recievivng JJJ airplay from their E.P. recorded and mixed at The Brain Studios.
Mz Annthropik has been recieving "airtime" on this years BIG BROTHER with a track recorded at The Brain.
Baltic came in to do Drum Tracks for 3 new songs.
Our Manley VOX BOX mic pre/compressor has been repaired and will be back in service for sessions this weekend.
We also check out the new "Dave Peach Audio" stereo mic pre/EQ on the session this weekend.I'll post my "review" on the unit sometime next week.
Just A Day tracked and mixed 2 songs for a Single and an appearance in an aussie movie.
This weekend MAXWELL STONE take over The Brain Studio to cut their latest E.P. with Clayton.

Bridezilla and The Scare have both locked out Studio 2 indefinatly for pre production/songwriting.

The Studio is made up of 2 x control rooms and 6 x recording spaces providing the most flexible recording situation in Sydney.

World Class Acoustics,Great sight lines,Natural Light,Comfortable couches,Plenty of creative Vibe.
Main Recording Area 1.
Aprox 85 sqr meters,World Class Acoustics,Lots of Wood,Natural Light,(The finest Drum Room in Australia,hands down!!!!)Live and open sound.Perfect for tracking entire,guitar driven bands.
Large Booth.
Aprox 25 sqr meters,Great for Vocals,Guitars,Acoustic Instruments,Tight Drum Sounds,Plenty Of Vibe.
Main Recording Area 2.
Aprox 35 sqr meters,World Class Acoustics,Dry sound,Large enough to track entire band,Carpeted floors,Wood,High Ceelings,Natural light w/City Views,Great Vibe.
Isolation Booths(x3)
Three different flavours,Sight lines to main room,Air Conditioned,Larger than your average Iso Booths,We have even recorded drums in these rooms for special effects.
Lounge areas(x2)
with TV,Playstation,Lots of DVDs,Magazines and games to keep your drummer busy while you track overdubs.
