I have a degree in psychology. I am notorious for analyzing people, but don't worry I have to know you pretty well to even attempt that. I was originally planning to go to grad school and get my doctorate and then do art therapy, and raise a family and then when my kids were in high school I would get my own private therapy practice, but I did this internship in a classroom for developmentally disabled children. I just absolutely loved it. So now I want to teach special ed, which actually sort of runs in my family.****I am an artist, I like to draw, lately I have been doing impressionist pieces using oil pastels. I am finding that the ones of flowers are not turning out as well as I would like, so once I finish the two I have been working on. I am going to do a series on babies, because I did one of a baby, and it turned out just awesome. I hung it up in my living room.****I also draw with pencil and charcoal. I have not really painted in years, but I have used watercolors, oils and acrylics in the past. In the past I have done ceramics as well. I have a tendency to go through creativity phases. I went through a poetry writing phase once and ended up writing like 130 poems inside of a year.****I also love to make jewelry, I started doing it about ten years ago. (So yes, those of you who knew me in high school I did make that head-dress.) I am planning ..ing my own jewelry making business. Yay Jilly!****I like to sew. ****I collect teddy bears. I had a bathroom in my old place that was all decorated with bear figurines, pictures and even a wallpaper border. It was very cute. I also collect coffee mugs with teddy bears on them. Don't give me anymore bears please I have too many already. ****I also collect vintage lingerie from like the 50's and 60's and stuff. It's so pretty and cute.****I love to do Sudoku puzzles. I'm such a nerd.****As you can see, I am very complicated, there are many different layers to me, many polar opposites all integrated into one whole. (Yay me)****
I want to meet people who I can relate to, people who like me for who I am. It is important to me that people respect me. See, for some reason things don't tend to go a little wrong in my life they go majorly catastrophically wrong. I don't need more drama in my life, so I don't keep friends who treat me like crap. ****I am also on a mission to reconnect with everyone I can find who I was once friends with but lost contact with. So far I have found many such people, and I hope to find many more. ****
I love rock, usually the depressing or heavier stuff. My favorites are Staind, Stabbing Westward, Bush, Disturbed, and Linkin Park. I used to be obsessed with TOOL, like when I was in high school. It was practically worship. Now I also like 311, Alanis Morrissete, Seal, sublime, No Doubt, Queen, A Perfect Circle, Creed, Sevendust, Nickleback, Rage Against the Machine, Avril Lavigne, and Savage Garden.I think a person's taste in music says a lot about who they are. And mine does. So yeah, yay me.
Harold and Maude ---you've got to love that movie. The guy who used to live next to me drove a herts. I was itching to go up to him and say "Harold! That was your last date!" and his face in that scene, he looks like 'dude this Sunshine Chick is even more messed up than I am'. **Dogma ----Hilarious, I mean George Carlin as an arch bishop. Need I say more?**The Matrix ---Awesome**American History X ---Edward Norton is such an incredible actor. And he picks such good movies to do.**Animal House ---Classic! John Balushi is the best.**Real Genius ---so funny, "did you know there's a guy living in our closet?"The Basketball Diaries ---based on a true story, the ending differs from that of the book, but they are each good in their own way.
I watch way too much. Law and Order ---one Summer, I watched TNT, and I think I have seen just about every episode no I am not kidding, we started watching CSI on fx, because we had seen all of the Law and Order episodes. The original is the best, but isn't the same without Jerry Orbach, SVU is a close second, and Criminal Intent just sucks.**Familiy Guy ---"I know, I know, I'm such a rice queen" thats a running joke with my friends.**Beavis and Butthead ---"settle down there beavis" i grew up on that show.**CSI ---pretty cool, because it's like Law and Order, but the miami one is just cheesy. New York is ok though. The episode that Quentin Tarintino did was nuts. I would hate to see what his nightmares look like.**The Simpsons ---"D'oh" how can anyone NOT watch that show?**Desperate Housewives ---funny strange **Aqua Teen Hunger Force ----"Number one in the hood G", "Hear that? That is the sound of him not being here! You can thank me later" Meat wad rocks.**Quantum Leap ---feel good, Al is funny, it's neat show. **ER ---"Carry this clown is crashing" Great show, the episode where you learn Luca is alive was just epic, as well as the one with Dr. Green dying in hawaii. **The Amazing Race ----I want to try that maybe sort of yeah**Greys Anatomy ---"I grew up in a trailer park and am not above kicking your pampered little Beverly Hills ass" poor George**Girlfriends ---Great show, fairly realistic, **Most Haunted ---creepy, but fascinating and the psychic they had (he left recently) Derrick, is amazing, he picks up on so much, and when he gets possessed yikes!.**American Chopper ---honestly I don't think I would ever ride a motorcycle, but I like the show. I want a "Mikey for president" shirt**
The Chronicals of Narnia series, I have read all but the last one. *** The Basketball Diaries, the Harry Potter series
Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Leonardo da Vinci (who is practically a god as far as I am concerned), My maternal grandfather, my paternal grandmother
