First and foremost, my partner is my primary world. We are absolutely in love and I could spend every waking moment with her... if she'd let me in the bathroom.I am a lesbian. I am not in the closet anywhere except around children. My family is on board with my lifestyle and treats my girlfriend as a valued part of the family. Even though I'm out and quite comfortable with my lifestyle, at times I find it best not to say anything rather than ruffle feathers and I very much like to respect others' comfort levels.Trust, honesty, and openness are HUGE issues to me in all types of relationships. I live by The Golden Rule as much as I can, and try to treat others how I would want or expect to be treated.I believe fully in Karma. I think every action has an equal and opposite reaction. If I'm a jerk to someone on the street, then something equally bad happens to me. Negative force toward another = negative force toward myself. I'm incredibly imperfect, and especially fall prey to my own impatience, but I try my best.I am constantly taking on more than I can chew because I don't want to miss out on opportunities to live and grow.I love to make people laugh, to listen to peoples' thoughts and learn from lives and lightheartedly & comfortably discussing differences. I loooove to travel and experience new things as often as possible.I am an affectionate person to people I like and connect with. I enjoy genuine, reasonable, open-minded people, especially those I have a lot to learn from.I'm a nerd at heart and happy to be such. I love my family and friends and embrace an eclectic group of people in my life.Lately, I have been a bit of a recluse. My new job has me up earlier than I'm used to and I still haven't discovered the right balance of time with friends, work, and family, but I'm trying.
