..My name is Jarmal, most of friends call me Malik. I was at Valdosta State University in 1994 when I realized that I wanted to be in the entertainment business, not as talent, but more behind the scenes, unfortunately when I graduated in 1999 I choose a different route.I stayed away from the entertainment industry for almost 6 years. So in 2005 I decided give it another try and started JMSI VIDEO PRODUCTIONS.I grabbed a G5 with Final Cut and learned the software with no formal training. Got my first job as an editor with Davenstar Media on the Gospel Red Carpet Premiere that was good experience for me actually that was a HD project learned a lot, and also figured out I had a lot more to learn.Very green to all the new technology, I started working closely with two talented guys, Trea Dungy and Ken Kirpatrick of Cut Close Productions. These guys took me up under their wings and taught me more than what I would learn in a class room when it came to video production. I cant thank them enough for giving me an opportunity to learn from them. I like to give them the label of Yoda and OB1, and me myself LukeI work closely with other freelancers to put together the best product for any client I take pride in the work that has my name on it...
