UrbanScape

Ok here I am in all my glory. My first bite at the musical cherry came when I was 10 years old. My parents had just moved house and I found myself living next door to a fantastic rock guitarist who's name was Witold. As a kid I'd go round and listen and watch him play. Pretty soon I started to play the guitar. I was never going to be as good as he was but to make life difficult for myself I thought I'd much rather play bass, and so it is I'm a bass playa.I started listening to bands like Brothers Johnson, Slave, Brass Construction, Sly and the Family Stone, Level 42 the list is endless. And started to hone my skills. I couldn't and still can't read music because to me it was too much like hard work getting to know the laws etc. when all I had to do was listen a couple of times to a track before playing it.UrbanScape is a 3 piece band comprising myself Nev and Juan. We've played all over with a number of bands namely Mercury which you've probably never heard of. I must stress however that this was a long time ago. We gave up and had ourselves a rest but we're back with a new name and renewed determination to spread the FUNK ha ha and have ourselves some fun.
