Makes my blood boil.
I like reading anything except fantasy and books with dragons on the cover. Any John Irving, Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut,David Mitchell, Isabel Allende, Donna Tartt, Bill Bryson, David Mitchell, Philippa Gregory, Iain Banks. Tin Drum by Gunther Grass is maybe my favourite book but really love The Time Travellers Wife and Captain Correlli's Mandolin. Like a lot of German Literature- Heinrich Boll, Durrenmatt (although he's Swiss). Like South American Literature too like Isabel Allende and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.I love travel books and travelogues- I love Bill Bryson - I wish I had his job... . Chris Stewart is also great. Read Driving Over Lemons. Writing a travelogue that is read by millions would be my dream ..and I'm going to do it, too. Just watch....................................................... ........I like non-fiction too especially film books like Easy Riders, Raging Bulls and I like historical books (fact and fiction) and can't live without Saturday Guardian and Living Etc every month. I like Mil Millington and wish the Guardian would let him/force him to write another weekly column.
