THE DEAL NOW
Yes, you've reached the Myspace page of... Sherinne Anderson, a professionally trained dancer from Middlesex who's ready to make her mark in the world of entertainment.
Sherinne's experience in dance extends from not only performing, but choreographing routines for events, including the BBC and teaching the likes of contemporary, hip-hop, modern-jazz and African dance in schools and fitness health clubs, in the UK and abroad.
THE DEAL THEN
Sherinne focussed her attentions on dance from a young age spending most days of the week working towards exams in classical ballet, tap and modern dance. Her talents as a dancer only excelled as she was spotted at her primary school at the age of eight and asked to join The Royal Ballet School as a Junior Associate.
Apart from dance Sherinne was a gifted athlete competing in tack and field events for Hillingdon Borough. Sherinne grew accustomed to winning her events both in school and at track and field meetings. Beginning to find it hard to commit she dropped athletics with the hope of having a career in dance. Today she remains in Hillingdon's Athletic Club's "Women's All Time Top 6" for Under 15's.
THE DEAL FULL STOP
Sherinne has been performing from a young age, appearing on stage, in theatres and TV including channel 5’s “Family Affairs.†My recent projects include performing in contemporary piece 'Electromotive' at the Robin Howard Theatre as part of Resolutions, Bollywood Movies “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,†“Honey Hai Toh Money Hai†and “Singh Is King†Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and last year joined post-modern African dance company Sakoba Dance Theatre on their national tour, with whom received rave reviews, especially in The Stage, for her solo performance in 'Love Story.'
With ambitions to have long term success within the entertainment industry, Sherinne not only wants to continue to progress as a dancer, but to make her mark in the world of dance.
“All of these dancers are dancers who are on the verge of their careers, so to speak. They're here to hone their artistry and make the transition from the classroom to the stage.â€
