I just finished my second year at KWC , and I have BIG dreams. In the next 10 years, I want to get married, have a family and an amazing career where I can help people every day, and travel as much as I can. I want to be a part of something BIG and GREAT - the story of God.
This year has been amazing, and it has taught me many things. As cliche as it sounds, it's true that you don't really learn about yourself or about life until you go to college.
I've learned not to stress the small stuff, because in the end things turn out ok. I've also learned to be free-spirited, and to live this life to the fullest. I've learned to DANCE . Smile at everyone you meet. Your smile may be the only kindness they see all day. Laugh . You can never laugh enough. And it's good for you. Worship . Praise God for all of the small things, all the people in your life, and all the ways God is planning to work through you.
Music is a HUGE part of my life. It's worship, stress relief, therapy, and ministry, along with many other things. It's a part of my heart and soul, and my life would be incomplete without it.
I've come to realize that I'm not a perfect person, and that I never will be. Perfection is something we strive for, but impossible to achieve. People make mistakes, and I'm certainly one of those people. But when they do, life goes on, and after a day or two, people will forget about everything! It's OK if things don't always go my way. I have to evaluate the changes, and change the route I'm on. I've certainly done that many times this year!
But most importantly, have a passion, and have a purpose. In all that you do, do it to the BEST of your ability. BELIEVE. Believe in God, believe in yourself, believe in others. Hope is something this world desperately needs. Create a change. Start a movement. DREAM BIG.
