Hunting for Witches

MyGen Here is a quick summary of my solo project "Hunting For Witches". Music has always been a part of my life. There is rarely a time when I'm not either playing guitar and recording or have music playing in the cd player. Music means everything to me. I recently purchased a Tascam 2488 24 Track Portastudio (click here to see it) And a Taylor 210 Acoustic guitar to start getting some serious recording underway. When I would record songs in the past I didn't really have any major plans for them but now that I have this great equipment things are going to change. I'm getting more serious about recording now and putting my music out there. "Hunting For Witches" is a name that has generated from this stronger desire to become successful. The name, for me, means fighting off the demons that I am sometimes faced with and taking more control of my dreams in order to make them reality. For those of you who have listend and liked my older stuff, I hope you continue to like the new stuff just the same. I don't think there is TOO MUCH of a difference other than the growing maturity of the lyrics and music. I have yet to write a new song that is "complete" though. Just a few that are semi-written. Writing takes time though and I want these new songs to be perfect (in my eyes haha). Hopefully at the end of this new musical journey I will have a Cd completely done with artwork, liner notes, and everything! I will continue to keep you updated as I see the need to. Sometimes theres no updates for a while though lol. In the mean time...Keep me in your thoughts and keep listening to the music!
