Check out the website at www.thinking-aloud.co.uk , for MP3-quality versions of these tracks, lyrics, more info about Thinking Aloud, and an ever-growing number of other tracks.
The songs are usually piano-driven, acoustic or rocky, with meanderings in other directions as the mood dictates. With a penchant for things Mellotron-esque, you'll find the sounds of that instrument creeping in here and there, as well as the odd flute, cello and symphony orchestra.
The selection here is a mixture of new songs and re-recordings of tracks originally written and taped in the 1990s, and I've put a bunch of the earlier compositions together on the CD "Conglomerate" - see below for details.
So there you go. Thinking Aloud in all its glory: not the best piano-player in the world, not the best singer in the world, not trying to be famous or anything, just music for the fun of it. Hope you like it!
