Currently working with Terry Coldwell(E17) on a new Dj/Production outfit called THE PETTY THIEVEZ playing funky/dirty houseAnthony Atcherley first got into electronic music at the age of about 10 when he was listening to bands like Kraftwerk & Depeche Mode, then a few years later got into Electro. The first time he heard any proper mixing was on the Electro 1 album, and he managed to get 2 old record players (Technics weren't around at the time) and started to learn mixing on them.A little while later House music came out, and he met a friend at school called Daniel Light (Billy Bunter) who was also into the same kind of music. Daniel Light and Anthony Atcherley then started DJing at little house parties together. Then came the Acid house days, when a D.J. called Chris Paul gave Anthony his first real break at Camden Palace when he was only 18. A year later Billy Bunter started playing in Labyrinth where he also managed to get Anthony a few bookings. In 1997, Anthony got a job at Mos Music Machine, where he learnt a lot about record labels and how to run them, and it was there Anthony decided to start writing his own tracks. Billy Bunter was writing and recording some hard house stuff, so Anthony went in the studio with him, which is where they wrote and recorded together. After a few weeks, Anthony started writing and recording material on his own, when he wrote an anthem for his new label ''Honey Pot''. This was when Anthony wrote IN MY HOUSE which was a huge chart-hit and became one of Honeypots biggest releases. Shortly after this, Anthony started a few of his own record labels called 'Just Do It, Under Siege' & 'Phat Beats' which were all successful.A few years later, Billy Bunter started his club night called TASTY and asked Anthony to be his resident DJ, playing Trance and a bit of old skool at the RAINDANCE events.
