Curbside Prophet is just another aspiring solo hip hop artist who is currently working on an album. That being said, new things are being brought to the table when you hear a song recorded in his cleaned out and freezing closet at home. Not only does he approach his lyrics differently than a lot of other artists, his subject material is more deep and easier to relate too. While having fun with his passion, he is still able to write serious subject matter and give the fans good music to listen too. It can be upbeat one minute, the next you'll be thinking about the course your life has taken. If your looking for a role model, look no further, he'll educate your kid on the truth of the education system. Not only did he graduate High School (message him and he'll send a picture of his diploma, all decked out with his cap and gown no less to prove it) he realized that college was not the best answer for himself, he saw it as a reason to not do this music. It also seemed to him that college was the place to attend if you needed help with your plans for the future. His plans involve scattered sheets of music, lyrics on the back of pizza boxes, live shows and reaching out to the people who need songs to relate too. He needs no help getting there, he can do this on his own.

Now Major labels, although they used to be his inspiration, are not an interest anymore and you can hear that in his music. The radio has been turned off in his room and he focuses on improving his skills. Curbside Prophet is not here to impress on anyone, he is just here to make his music and hopefuly one day make an impression on the hip hop community. Whether it be good or bad, you can decide that. Enjoy.

ATTENTION
I am now looking for a Producer/ DJ/ Maker Of Beats to collaborate with. Networking purposes only, and I am not financially stable enough to pay for beats. I've been using beats on soundclick.com, and the mainstream is to much of an influence on that website. Contact me on MySpace or on AIM at "The Lyrical Punk." If you're interested in making good songs with an artist who takes his passion seriously, than just ask. I will do remixes and/or write complete songs for your production. Thank you.

Independent Labels that discover this music and find that they enjoy it, message me. I can give you my phone number if you'd rather talk in person, I'm easy to reach and I check my email more than once a day. Thank you.

Major labels that find my music and enjoy it, don't bother. There are some artists over on the Maine's Rap label though that may be interested. Here is their website (www.myspace.com/mainerap). I'm sure Tony Tone would love to have a chat with you, no offense to him. I chose my path, don't try and alter it.
