My interests have always been the ongoing social, cultural and environmental issues of the Pacific People and their land. Something deep inside, drives me to try and do what I can to better understand these issues and hopefully someday make a difference in their lives. Preserving culture is also a passion. When I look at the old people and imagine what kind of amazing lessons they quietly carry with them. I want to take those life lessons and somehow make it possible for our children to learn those so they can in turn teach the next generation. Music is and always has been an important part of my life..
I'd like to meet:
I like to meet people who have passion... about anything! I guess that is why I love artists, of any kind. Someone that has a true belief and passion of something and they can share that with me, that inspires me. This can be music, a cause in something, art....creating something that represents how they feel... I love that. I love talking to people and finding about their lives. I love and appreciate music of all generes! But I really really love, soul, R&B, Island Music, any thing classic... classic rock for example. I know the lyrics to most music between the 50's (thanks to my Nana) and now... really!!
Movies:
The Notebook, Meet Joe Black, Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, Friday,Brown Sugar, Grease, Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, really there are alot more.... but I can't remember until I see them again
