A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Ervin Anton “Tony” Svoboda, 64, of Ormond Beach, who died October 1, 2008, 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 18th at St. Brendan’s Roman Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach, Florida. Tony was born January 4, 1944 in Highland Park, Illinois. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired after many successful years employed as a Regional Sales Manager in the Energy Industry as well as being a broker/realtor. Tony will be best remembered for his love of family along with his integrity, loyalty, and dependability. He was also a good provider for his family and always tried to help others. He generously opened his home to family and friends in time of need. His free time was spent enjoying riding his Harley Davidson and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Toni Michel Svoboda; Sons David “Andy” (C.J.) Svoboda of Marietta, GA; Eli Holley of Ormond Beach, Tyler Holley of Ormond Beach; Daughter Tina (Jon) Schwenke of Mableton, GA; Brothers Edwin (Martha) Svoboda of Mt. Zion, IL, Gerald Svoboda of Ormond Beach; Sisters Kathy (Ray) Wicklander of Lake Forest, IL, Sheryl (Mike) Ridder of Libertyville, IL; one grandchild, Michael Anton Svoboda; Father-in-law Lovelace Michel, Sr.; Mother-in-law Mildred Romero Michel of Morgan City, Louisiana. Predeceased by his parents Edwin V. Svoboda and Anna M. Curley Svoboda of Waukegan, Illinois.Condolences may be shared with the family at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com. I have a few... Above All~> G O D ... My Mama and Daddy, can't get any better than those two...they are the reason for who I am today...thank you LORD!!! Grandma Romero, raised 8 kids alone and became a RN; such courage and compassion!!! My HUBBY for always coming through for my boys...{thank you}and of course, My Sons, Eli and Tyler, they have grown into fine young men and I am very proud of them and thier accomplishments...I knew they could do it!!!!
