Scott Houston has performed various genres of music for the past 25 years since he began drumming at just 9 years old. When Scott entered his late teens, he began focusing on his vocal talent that he had yet to discover, while continuing to become a more experienced drummer. By this time, Scott was doing double duty as both a drummer and lead vocalist. He toured locally and remotely (as far as Alaska) with bands who opened up for main acts such as Restless Heart, Dwight Yoakam, and Orleans. Over the past several years, Scott has grown into a seasoned vocalist who has gone solo and has a CD coming out soon (depending on when Al Edwards finishes producing it)which will be a follow up to his first single, Picture This. Scott is very down to earth and witty, which is what makes him a crowd pleaser. He will always enjoy performing for, and interracting with, people of all ages. For those of you who don't know Scott, he has been battling Crohn's Disease for more than 5 yrs now. If you don't know what Crohn's Disease is, you are encouraged to research more about it on the internet. The disease is NOT contagious. There are no cures for this disease, only medication to subside the symptoms and keep the disease dormant. Scott would like to spread the word about Crohn's Disease using his original music as a vehicle to educate the public.
